Troy Oakley Quarter Horses was founded in 1988 and since that time has established a formidable reputation in the western pleasure industry. In the professional, amateur, novice amateur, and youth arenas, Oakley horses have proven themselves to be winners time and time again. Such well known names as Barpassers Cody, The Texus Lexus, Made In A Zip, Bar Hoppin Della, Wood N Princess, Sleepy Clover Dale, Make Me Sleepy, Buddy Gee Bars, Dynamic Fashion, Form The The Line Behind, Whatever Zips, Beaus Fine Choice, Leaguers Big Venture, Wolf Pack Jack, RL Tune Up, Vested
Faith, Slightly Zipped, Don’t Skip Princess, Principley Good Bars, and Diamond Leaguer have gotten their start at Troy Oakley Quarter Horses.

In both AQHA and APHA competition, Troy has numerous Congress and World Show Top Ten finishes and has earned in excess of $100,000. In NSBA earnings. Troy was the 2001 NSBA Reserve Hi Point Open Rider. Amateur and Youth competitors have won All-American Quarter Horse Congress titles, APHA World Championships and AQHYA World Championships under the guidance of Troy.
Troy and his wife Vickie have two sons, Tate and Tab, and live on their farm in Pinnacle, N.C..
Both Vickie and Tate have enjoyed much success in the AQHA and NSBA ranks. Tate was the NSBA Hi Point Novice Rider for 2000 and the NSBA Hi Point Youth Western Pleasure rider for 2002. He has won three Congress Championships and one Reserve Congress Championship. In 2002 Tate was the AQHYA World Champion in Western Pleasure. Vickie has many year end awards to her credit as well as numerous circuit titles.
